The Wednesfield Club with great sadness announce the death of former Club Chairman Mr. Arthur Wilkinson, Arthur died of complications surrounding pneumonia at New Cross Hospital on Sunday the 14th of June following a long battle with Altzeimers desease, he was 78.

On a bright sunny afternoon Wednesfield took the league points, both teams looked evenlly matched rider wise with Wednesfield missing the services of Mike Morgans and Leicester missing a couple of their first team riders.
